New Routes from Faro 15 March 2010 In March, 14 new routes are set to be started by the low-cost airline company, Ryanair, which will be opening its 39th base at Faro Airport. The new routes announced by the Irish company will connect the Algarve city to a total of 27 new European destinations. As a result, passenger traffic at Faro airport is expected to increase to 1.3 million.
